Chris is a writer, producer and vocalist based in Nashville. He began his career as a Contemporary Christian artist signed to Geffen records, where his songs topped the Billboard Christian charts. Chris has been nominated for five Dove Awards and has won three – including New Artist of the Year, and Male Vocalist of the Year. After a successful artist career, Chris transitioned into writing and producing songs for other artists in both pop and country. He is best known for co-writing Keith Urban’s hit “God Whispered Your Name”. Other cuts include Tenille Arts, Hootie and the Blowfish, Pentatonix, Ben Rector, The Afters and many more. Chris counts Shy Carter, Lydia Vaughan, Joss Stone, Pentatonix, Bryn Christopher, James Slater, Brett James, Sarah Buxton, Lindsay Ell, Kat Higgins, Craig Wiseman and Emily Landis as just a few of his collaborators.
