CLAIRE DOUGLAS

Claire is a genre-crossing lyricist who was born in Texas but raised in Nashville with Country Music in her blood. She attended the University of Mississippi to study poetry, but came back to Music City only to realize she had been writing songs all along. With a natural strength for concepts and lyrics, Claire is an effortless fit for any artist trying to pair honest storytelling with modern musical elements.

Most recently, Claire wrote the 2024 Mitchell Tenpenny single "Not Today". She's also had significant cuts with Dylan Scott, Tim McGraw, Leah Marie Mason, Jonathan Hutcherson, Madison Kozak, Dylan Brady, McKenzie Porter, Kelleigh Bannen, and more. Her ever-expanding circle of collaborators include Jason Massey, Kyle Clark, Seaforth, Emily Landis, Foy Vance, Cameron Bedell, Micah Premnath, Logan Wall, Vince Gill, Michael Whitworth, Cameron Montgomery, Tom Douglas, Adam Yaron, James Slater, Lori McKenna, Luke Niccoli and many more.
