EMILY LANDIS

 

A St. Louis native, Emily Landis moved to Nashville in 2012 to attend Belmont University’s songwriting program. She signed with BMG in 2018 and has since secured cuts with Gabby Barrett, Dylan Scott, Lauren Alaina, Troy Cartwright, Eric Paslay, Larry Fleet, Laci Kaye Booth, Tiera Kennedy, Lauren Watkins, Kassi Ashton and more. She landed her first 3-week #1 song with Gabby Barrett’s “The Good Ones” in April 2021. The song was certified platinum and received nominations for Song of the Year and Single of the Year at the 55th annual CMA Awards as well as Favorite Country Song at the 2021 American Music Awards. Following the success of “The Good Ones”, Landis also received two Music Row Award nominations for “Breakthrough Songwriter of the Year” and “Female Songwriter of the Year”. Her ability to convey emotion and imagery through lyrics is second to none. Her expanding circle of cowriters include Jimmy Robbins, Andrew DeRoberts, Lauren Hungate, Craig Wiseman, Kat Higgins, Tofer Brown, Rodney Clawson, Logan Wall, HunterGirl, Jamie Moore, Zach Kale, Allen Shamblin, Will Bundy, Lauren Watkins, Rocky Block, John Byron, Casey Brown, Ben West and many more.
