The Young Fables (TYF), formed by East Tennessee natives Laurel Wright and Wes Lunsford, blend classic Country storytelling with pop sensibilities. Their music, influenced by legends like Patsy Cline, Bonnie Raitt, Glen Campbell, and Chet Atkins, has resonated with audiences worldwide. Known for addressing personal topics typically reserved for therapy, TYF advocates for mental health awareness and works to erase stigmas surrounding it. Their commitment to compassion earned them the 2021 Troy Gentry Compassion Award.

Their unique mix of Country and Pop has garnered praise from industry icons, with Sheryl Crow calling Laurel “as good as any country singer out there.” TYF's music has been featured on Rolling Stone's "10 Best Country and Americana Songs of the Week" and earned them opportunities to support stars like Vince Gill, Amy Grant, and Rascal Flatts. In September 2023, they were honored as BMI & Texas Roadhouse's Artists of the Month. TYF's upcoming fourth studio album, Short Stories, will be released alongside their documentary The Fable of a Song, which won the Nashville Film Festival Audience Choice Award.
